How to reach Nag Tibba?

Nag Tibba may be reached from Delhi by public transportation through Dehradun. Dehradun from Delhi is often served by bus and train. Book a ticket on the Nanda Devi Express or Shatabdi Express if you intend to go by train. Don’t reserve a Mussoorie Express ticket as long delays are infamous. From Delhi ISBT Kashmiri gate you can also board a bus to Dehradun. A ticket for the Volvo AC bus costs around Rs. 700 and the trip take approximately 7-8 hours. You can catch a bus from Dehradun railway station to Nainbagh to get to Panthwari yourself.

For the 3.5 hour ride, it will cost roughly Rs. 150. From Nainbagh you can go to Panthwari by sailing to a common cab for Rs. 50. From Delhi to Dehradun there is a daily flight. Trekking base Pantwari can also be reached independently and using public transport. Catch every bus on Yamunotri Street, to Naogaon/Purola/Barkot/Sankri Nainbagh, and get down to Nainbagh.  You will obtain buses on the neighboring road on Gandhi or Dehradun train station. There are several buses until 8 a.m. Take a joint ride to Pantwari from Nainbagh. You must wait till the car is filled.
